According to some researchers, the Halloween origin seem to be born in Italy precisely in Rome where was dedicated festival called Parentalia, “the feast of the dead” even if it was then well structured in England and Ireland, to celebrate the eve of the dead, the name originally was All Hallows ‘Eve, and the origin should be sought in the tale of the character of Jack O’ Lantern who was condemned by the devil to wander the world, at night, in the light of the “hollowed out” pumpkin containing a candle.
