TOP 6 Fitbit Versa 2 tips and tricks you should know!
Fitbit Versa 2 was one of the first in the world of fitness accessories. And immediately it was a great success. Packed with advanced tracking, Alexa on the wrist, and advanced sleep tracking, the Versa 2 looks elegant and refined.
So, if you’ve recently bought the Fitbit Versa 2 or are planning to buy this fitness-oriented smartwatch, you can’t miss these valuable tips!
1. Customize the main screen.
One of the first things you should do on your Fitbit Versa 2 is arrange the icons according to your pleasure. After all, you don’t want your favorite app on the fourth screen, right? Keep frequently accessed apps on the first screen and so on.
Long press on the icons and drag them to the screen of your choice. You will ensure that you have a fully customized screen.
2. Change the always-on display screen.
Thanks to the AMOLED screen, the Fitbit Versa 2 also packs an accurate Always-On Display. It is a smaller version of the dial and comes into operation when the watch is inactive.
For now, the clock allows you to choose between two styles: analog and digital. And you can add a couple of stats to this screen. For example, if you want some of your walking stats or battery percentage on this screen, that’s possible.
To change the always-on display, go to Settings> Always-on display and tap Personalize.
3. Customize the left button.
Another interesting trick is to customize the button with an action of your choice. Unlike its predecessors, the Fitbit Versa 2 packs only one button instead of three.
This button not only acts as a back button but also acts as a trigger for Alexa. All you have to do is long-press on it. And if you don’t like it you can edit it with:
°Shortcut for exercises
To change it, go to Settings and scroll down until you see the option for the left button.
4. Calibrate Fitbit Versa.
Of all the settings and features, it’s imperative that your Fitbit watch correctly estimates your steps, calorie count, sleep data, and heart data.
And so …. Calibration🏄
Fitbit Versa 2 lets you define heart rate zones. You can also set your maximum heart rate. To do this, open the Fitbit app on your smartphone, tap the small profile icon in the upper left corner, and select Heart rate zones.
If you walk or run frequently, it’s also important to add a custom stride length so your watch can capture accurate readings.
To change this setting, go to Advanced Settings (under your profile) and tap Stride Length.
5. Add offline music and pair earphones.
I like this a lot! The Fitbit Versa 2 has a lot of built-in memory for storing offline music. This way, you can listen to your favorite songs without your phone when running or jogging.
The only problem is that you will have to help with your PC for this, and the process is not easy.
You must connect the watch to the same Wi-Fi network your phone is connected to. Next, you will need to transfer the songs from your PC to the watch.
To do this, open the Music app on your watch and tap Transfer Music at the same time, open the app on your PC. Once you have discovered the app, click on the small Music icon at the top and tap Music storage> Personal music> Create a new playlist and add the songs you like on the watch.
Once done, tap on the little Done icon at the top.
For maximum performance, pair your wireless headphones. Very simple operation.
Go to Settings> Bluetooth> + Audio Device to start scanning. Once you have located the device of your choice, tap on it to select and pair it.
Now you can go out, and listen to your favorite songs without having to take your phone with you.
6. Change the watch faces.
What makes smartwatches so interesting is that you can change their look whenever you want. You can choose any look and color, depending on how you feel!
With Fitbit Versa 2, it’s easy to switch between faces, the only thing you need is a working internet connection and the Fitbit app on your phone.
To change the watch face, go to your profile on the Fitbit app and tap the Versa 2 tab.
Then, touch Clock face> All clock and touch the one you like. Tap Select, and the selected clock face will only take a few seconds to synchronize with the clock.
Hope these tricks give your Fitbit versa 2 a little more, thanks for reading!
